dean

I got mine ordered from Jerry!

Dean......love the idea......I'll want in on this one....looking for a photo of a Scruggs cue that had a gorgeous Balabushka design with ivory joint that was posted some time ago in the Cue Gallery. That's the cue design I want Jerry to build with a flat ivory joint and cue weight of 18.5 ozs.

I'm searching for the photo of the cue but haven't located it yet. I thought Sean at Cue Addicts was the possessor of the cue but I could be mistaken. If anyone remembers that cue or has a photo, please post it.

Thanks,

Matt B.

p.s. Search has ended thanks to the helpfulness of a fellow Azer....a1712.

Thanks Dean.......Can't wait to have Jerry get started on my GB Tribute Cue.
This came together really easily largely due to a fellow Azer (a1712) lending a helping hand.

Thanks again Brian. It's experiences like this that make AZ so rewarding and more worthwhile.

My last attempt at finding Cortland Linen #12 was a flop and entirely frustrating as well.
Regardless, there was some good that came out of that which was finding a source for
Cortland Linen #9 which I shared with several other Azers whom also benefited.

So all in all, my WTB thread for Cortland Linen #12 achieved some good, despite it never
resulted in locating any #12 I wanted for my cue....but I was still able to get Cortland #9.
This time my thread asking for help turned into a grandslam......thanks entirely to Brian.

Balabushka Tributes

Mine has been ordered, today! Jerry had a few on his website, traded mother of pearl for ivory.

I have every confidence you'll have a great experience having him build your cue and I found him to be just about the nicest person to do business with.

And the price & terms Deanoc arranged are phenomenal.

Kaiserman....none of the cues being referred to are even made yet......some are underway but these are all new cue orders Jerry Rauenzahn will be building.
In case this is something that interests you, check out deanoc's OP or you can contact him via PM thru the Forum. Jerry will make you any weight you specify.

Dr. Gonzo, DunnM1 & skins........

Great decision to join the group Dean put together for these Balabushka Tribute cues.
My 1st contact with Jerry was a phone call on 5/6. Since that time, we spoken on the
phone 4 times, and he's sent me photos of the BEM wood and today, photos of my veneers.

Keep in mind Jerry didn't even receive my initial down-payment until 5/9 and today is only 5/15.
My cue completion date is March 2015 and it's amazing to start receiving photos already.
And Jerry's interest and willingness to make you happy with your cue is unparalled in my opinion.

I look forward as Jerry posts progress photos of all these Balabushka Tribute cues for comparison
purposes. It will be interesting to see the different version Balabushka designs Azers have ordered.
This is going to be as much fun as my last cue project with Bob Owen and that cue arrives next week.

Thanks Dean for introducing me to Bob Owen and this new opportunity to work with Jerry Rauenzahn.
Dr. Gonzo, DunnM1 & skins....get ready for a terrific experience with your Balabushka Tribute Cues.

two of the best guys in the world to work with

in my opinion they both make great cues

keep us informed with up date pics

others should be joining us
i am getting one myself

what do you think will happen if i win my own contest

Sir Dean......Your Wish Is My Command.

Here's what I received from Jerry so far......Say Dean, with a nice stain on this BEM, it should turn out pretty handsome.
You've already previewed the cue Bob is shipping next week. I think the BEM Jerry selected for this cue might even be nicer.
I hope everyone in our group becomes excited over the design of their Balabushka Tribute cues after seeing these photos.

Matt B.

p.s. To answer your question......"Expect audit requests."

p.p.s. This special pricing is rare and with only 15 buyers in this group, if you're still on the fence, the time to get off is now!

Jon,

Nice veneer choices......after being polished, the colors will stand out over the points.
I'm strictly ebony points kinda guy when it cue designs too.....except for that wonderful Nitti cue in the Gallery with the Native American design......that's one I drool over.

Matt

Here's one Jerry built a couple of years ago that I absolutely LOVE!!! Cue hits like WOW!!! Got to love theses tributes!!!
