Where are all these strange thoughts coming from?

Just on the main page, there is a thread asking about:

If a cue needs to be straight
Impossible miscues with a 14.3mm tip
Can I strip the clear coat off a cue
And someone needs 50 cents

Are you sure the main forum hasn't become the NPR section already?

Yeah, the forum keeps getting weirder and weirder the last few {maybe longer} years.

Well then let's discuss the ram shot

Have you ever wondered what would happen if SVB mastered the ram shot?

Since this is a pretty weird thread anyways....
...has anyone tried raking the balls....
...with a rake?

It gives people a superior feeling to call questions dumb. I just bought a truck and want to restore the paint job. I have a buffer. I just came back from the auto store and I am sure I asked a lot of dumb questions. Does it matter what compound to use? Should I do the clay bar thing first? Do I really have to use a polish or can I go straight to the wax. What wax should I use?

Then the worst question of all to ask, "What is the best" this or that like they can really answer beyond telling me what I want to hear. When I got back home I had bought nothing and will do some research on line how to do the job best. I guess when I left not buying anything after all my questions they laughed at me in their superior minds.

AZB has been boring for the last month...

I would have to agree... I have started a couple of threads, just hoping that it might generate some interesting banter...

sigh

Hopefully, something will "spark out interest again"

Like $80 chalk, must be better than the $30 chalk right?

Sigh. Just makes one want to start another Pre Flag Thread doesn't it.

One thing that will always remain to be good is the Funny Gif Thread. One can always contribute to that.

A lot of information here:

They go out of their way to welcome a new member and his "dumb" questions. A great bunch of guys.

I would highly suggest a dual action polisher, and not a rotary buffer unless you have tons of experience with the rotary process.

Which then can be added.

There are no such things as Dumb Questions. Just Dumb Answers.

Life is a learning lesson. If you are genuinely interested in a subject, how do you learn other than seeking out someone that you figure knows more than yourself on the subject. The Internet is a wonderful learning instrument. You can usually find the answers or instructions to many of your questions.

Before the Internet, you had to seek out a Live Mentor.

And that is why we get a considerable amount of cue repair questions on AZ. For this subject, there just isn't a ton of answers out there or you just might get referred back to a thread on AZ.
