I think he meant the wrap motor.
I don't know why I haven't posted about this before.
On my small-headstock Deluxe,the wrapping belt went bad due to dry rot before it actually wore out.
My machine has a Dayton sewing machine motor. Your's probably does too.
I needed the belt because it didn't come with one. I went to a local shop that sells and services sewing machines and vacuum cleaners.
The old guy that owns it has been in that business his whole life,and said that the industry has gone towards a universal belt system,and says the big O-ring that is usually used as a drive belt pretty much only comes in one size now.
Sizewise,it will barely fit around the wrap motor lengthwise,or in my case,about fist-sized.
I have since found these round belts can be had in Wal Mart with the vacuum cleaner belts. Tommy D.

you don't need a wrap motor
Open the dc motor controller and find the 3 adjustable potentiometers. Mark their position with a pen. With the motor running on it's slowest speed, turn the potentiometer closest to the big capacitor until the dc motor is spinning as slowly as you want. I set mine for about 100 rpm.
When you wrap, you can easily stop the spindle from turning with you hand or you can use the foot pedal.
This doesn't hurt anything..... you can leave the motor on and stick in the indexing pin to stop the motor and leave it over night........ the motor will still be cool in the morning....... I did this accidentally.
I have a deluxe and 2 spinners that use the same dc motor and controller and I gave done this to all 3. You can buy the motor and controller from Penn State ind for $119...
