A formal thank you to Lou Figueroa, and Dustin Miller

In thinking about my last two posts, I want to clarify. In no way do I mean any disrespect to Mr. Wiley. I honestly do have the utmost respect for him as a player. His accomplishments are many, and is/was truly world class. I just take personal offense to they statement that someone NEEDS to have a system to achieve a certain level of play. If that were true, I would not be at the level that I currently am. I dedicated many many many hours of my life to this great game, and don't want to feel as if it were cheapened by the fact that I did not do it your way. If beating the ghost without taking ball in hand, without any system whatsoever, doesn't speak for itself, than I don't know what does.

I'm not sure what you're referring to, maybe we should look at the definition of "system" as applied to physical games or sports. I've always been considered a "natural player," and play the same speed as Earl Strickland. With this being said, "there's still a system to the naturalness".......please read the following definition:

sys·tem (sĭs′təm)
n.
1. A group of interacting, interrelated, or interdependent elements forming a complex whole.

2. A functionally related group of elements, especially:

a. The human body regarded as a functional physiological unit.

b. An organism as a whole, especially with regard to its vital processes or functions.

c. A group of physiologically or anatomically complementary organs or parts: the nervous system; the skeletal system.

Thanks for agreeing, and I accept your apology. ;)

Mr. Wiley,
I cannot assume that someone with your breadth of knowledge is honestly being as dense it this thread might seem. I have always held you in high regard, and am somewhat baffled as to the confrontational manner and general indignance you have portrayed in my thread. If there is a personal issue with you and Lou, I ask that you please take it elsewhere, as this thread was an honest and heartfelt thank you to Mr. Figueroa.
I have never injected my opinion into any of your threads about your aiming systems, as my opinion would detract from the honest good nature of your postings. I am somewhat amiss as to what made you feel you had the right to do so here.
Please either keep my thread free of negative denotation and/or connotations, or please exclude yourself from your continued contributions in this particular topic.

I expected more from you.

Why would you expect more from CJ?

As "professional" in our industry, and a business man as such:

Definition of 'Social Responsibility'

The idea that companies should embrace its social responsibilities and not be solely focused on maximizing profits. Social responsibility entails developing businesses with a positive relationship to the society which they operate in. According to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), this relationship to the society and environment in which they operate is "a critical factor in their ability to continue to operate effectively. It is also increasingly being used as a measure of their overall performance."

Here's a recap of my posts, It's apparent that it was meant to be humorous.

Sorry you feel that way, after all you made this post on the main page ....at some point you'll "real eyes" I've been joking all along :groucho: If I made you feel "funny inside" I apologize, Lou and I joke around sometimes, it's just "forum ribbing," and it's done with the utmost respect and admiration.

Lou is a nice guy, as long as he's not angry.

Did Lou share any of his pool playing systems?

You play pool without using any system at all? That must be interesting.

PS: "feel" is systematic

If I misunderstood your intent, then I give my sincerest apologies. There just seems to be an awful lot of disrespect floating around. I hold this game of ours in high regard (as well as many of its participants, yourself included), and when I thought there was some discord, I got bent out of shape.

I homestly wish that we could all get back to the days where there was honor in this game, and a handshake meant as much as a written contract.

So I give my appologies and say in complete disclosure that I stuck my foot in my mouth.

I did however make my point quite well lol (now Im being sarcastic)

Best to all and may the rolls be with you
