The ability of some posters to work out time zones around the world does not really surprise me. Few years ago a well known US pro player turned up late for the World Pool Championship in Cardiff with the belief that the time on his watch was the same all over the world.
Fortunately he made the deadline with minutes to spare. But he thought he was five hours early.
So the World Snooker 1.00pm match times are
In the UK = 1.00pm In most of Europe that is 2.00pm
In Eastern USA in will be 8.00am In central USA it will be 7.00 am
In Western USA it will only be 5.00am (or 2900pm for night owls}
