Alex Pagulayan going to UK to try pro snooker

Highfield must have begun with his usual high-powered (23 year old) game. Did he make some high breaks?

I forget who was saying it, but it was mentioned that Alex is getting up there in years, relative to the majority of the pros on the circuit at almost 36 years old. I have to say that in terms of frame of mind, Alex is the youngest 30'something I have ever seen.
 
Alex is to be congratulated on a great showing!

To clear up one thing, the "Americas" spot is taken by a Brazilian player. So I believe Alex will have as an option just entering pro tournaments where there is not a full field.

Just look at the folks in the first pages of this thread that insisted he would get nowhere. Less did he prove them wrong, I think, than merely reveal them as the undreaming railbirds they are.
