Contest - Challenge - Cue Makers

All inlays are in and the seal coat is on.
I wonder how Brent, AKA Venison-Slayer, is coming along?
I am looking forward to seeing what everyone came up with.

I'm still here, I'll give you an update on what's going on up north. Butt of the cue is just about done I've had a few equipment issues, working them out but now my biggest problem is I go in for hernia surgery Friday morning. Didn't plan on my intestines popping out. Then 2 weeks later it looks like it might be my foot. dam work is trying to kill me. This is going to set me back some. How much I don't know. I will have something to show at the end of the month. Whether is done or not. I believe most people will like it even if its not done. But I'm not going to put out a cue that I'm not happy with , just so I don't here that looks cheap etc.... .

It was a two man contest then you were kind enough to want to enter. Looks like it is just you and Doug now.

Only a couple few weeks left, getting excited.
 
Because of the accent inlays I had to put a lot of finish on this cue. I put the fifth round of finish on yesterday. You will see why when you see what these accent inlays are. I hope Brent can get his together somehow by the deadline. I am also looking forward to seeing the rest of Doug's cue.

Everything went well there was a few more tares then I thought. The medicine they have me on relieves all pain but I still have to watch what I do. I don't like being dizzy all the time , can't drive etc .... Two weeks of this is going to drive me crazy. I will have a cue to show but dought it will be finished but will show it anyway. Thanks Chris for the prayers I appreciated it

Brent, I know what you mean. I have to take Vic's for my back every once in a while and it becomes remote control for TV time.

If you want we can do a show of cues the 1st and a vote after you are done. Its all for fun bud, I feel your pain, lets keep it fun.

I am glad the surgery went okay. Try your best to finish the butt. The shafts don't matter so much for the contest. If you can't get the finish on the butt at least shine it up with shaft sealer and show it.

That was my plan but the inlays won't be done in time I've had two cnc's go down in the last month Murrphy's law is kicking me hard.
 
The dead line is closing fast I cant wait to see all the hard work you guys put in and how the cues come out
