last year i was doing some clear window cues and was having trouble cutting the acrylic, dick, suggested to slow the lathe down, and use a round end cutting tool.
it worked great.

yesterday i was doing a repair to a viking buttcap. it was made of some type of purple swirly plastic, and the customer being a breast cancer survivor wanted something pink. i found some swirly pink plastic, and as i was cutting it to fit. i got to thinking about the tip i got from dick. great info.

made me think about all the help i have got on this forum, great bunch of people !!!!!!

I agree Dick has offered some really good tips on here through the years.
 
Hmmmm. Your lack of uppercase letters in the subject line "thank you, dick neighbors" led me to think you'd started a thread about the people living next door that you don't like. My bad.
