Balabushka Tributes Jerry Rauenzahn

That's great news....I'm pretty sure I know the 10 buyers but of what consequence is that? It doesn't matter.
Now let's get 10 Balabushka cues built by Jerry, have him make a photo gallery so we can have a poll on the best of the best.
After the 10 cues are built, whomever wins the drawing can have their free cue made which is a heck of a bonus.

Regardless, I'm excited to have my cue built and it doesn't matter who wins because I still get a new custom designed Balabushka cue.
And at a great price...........and from a great guy & really talented cue-maker.......I can't lose on this opportunity....the bonus cue is just luck.

As they said in days bygone, "Let the games begin."........Now let's see which of our cue designs is the most handsome.......Heck, we already
know these masterpieces are going to play great. If you've got any doubts, about that, just ask Bob Farr about how Rauenzahn cues play.

10:1 not bad though....Oh what the heck, it'd be more fun if we wait until all the cues are actually built and then do the drawing........the suspense
would be something to look forward to......like a Irish Sweepstakes Ticket bought way in advance.....Can the other divine nine handle the wait?

Hey Jon.......now don't go making me jealous......December?

Oh boy, mine won't be ready until March.......hope you get to enjoy an early Xmas present.

Just got off the phone with Jerry and he'd like to tie up the loose ends with buyer #10 ASAP.
After that gets taken care of, I suppose a drawing for the bonus cue could be conducted.

Hey #10.........the other divine nine are waiting on you to finalize your cue order with Jerry R.

I think I was the first to jump on this order, and when I first talked to Jerry he told me December 21...or something close to that. What an excellent Christmas gift from me to me!

! I went with a nice Black, Grey, Red, Maple combo, with a Bushka design I found cruising the internet :) Should be pretty sweet!

And of course it's over budget! Lol!

The gray veneer goes great with the red & black veneers......I wish I had considered it........nice call. The drawings of your cue design looks like something I'd find on Lucky's website......I searched the Internet for cue designs like you and some of the other buyers......the design you chose looks really cool.

Thanks Matt I think the design is going to look really cool also it's a little bit different than what you always seem to see out of the Bushka Cues... Eddie Cohen has a Q in the gallery with the Black gray red Veneer they look really sweet and then Jerry send me a picture of a cue he made years ago with that color combo I think it's going to turn out perfect!

That Cohen cue you mentioned.....I think that's the UNLV cue if my memory is right.....that's when I first saw the gray veneer with red combo and liked it right away.
If I didn't have the project cue to pay off, I'd make a trip to see Eddie......there's two cue-makers, aside from Jerry R.. ..that I'd like to own..... Steve Klein and Eddie Cohen.

Nonetheless, my heart has longed for a fancy Ed Prewitt cue for such a long time and let's face it, we can't have everything........my collection is being capped at 8 cues. I have
4 children so my goal has always been 2 cues each as soon as I acquired a 5th cue....that was simple......and I'm too old to get the collection up to 12 cues so eight cues it is.

Anyway my point is after Jerry finishes my Balabushka cue, my collection has 6 cues and so there's only room for 2 more cues. It just means my next selection has to be a really
great cue so that it doesn't comes down to buying #8. But if I can score an elephant on my next cue purchase or custom cue order, then I might just look for an early Joss West
or Richard Black cue to round out my collection......that be would like hitting for the cycle in baseball for me in pool cues.
