I miss playing pool for money

.....or you could go bust playing guys like Jumpin Joe posing as APA 6's. I would be willing to bet (no pun intended) Vegas has more monsters hiding in the shadows than most cities.

I might be back in Round Rock for the Texas Open ladies event at the end of August, if you want, you have even action at Skinny Bob's, im not playing you on those messed up tables at Fast Eddies, I want to see your best game.

You just said you were moving to Vegas for a while but sure, we can make that happen. My comment wasnt to put your game down. I just know that alot of people go to Vegas with big dreams. Pool players too. Heck, we have a couple from here that did that for a while that could give me the 7 out and breaks. I have no illusions about how well or not well I play but I am not trying to make a living doing it either. All I have ever said to you is take care of yourself and I think that Vegas might be a little too deep of a talent pool. JMO

moving to vegas, as in going out there grinding and living in a motel each night until its time to go to texas to play in the tournament. When i say im moving, i dont really have a real place to live i just mean im leaving the state im in. Heck I dont even live in Missouri, I just sleep in cars or in motels but thats the way i make money.

I got confirmation from one horse that is a go. Barbox 8 ball $100 sets and we will post up a minimum of 5 sets for you if you want it. That will give you a fair shot at $500 or more than the $75 daily grind you are referring to at Vegas. Let me know and we can work out the details. This will be at Big Dogs Billiards on a diamond barbox.

I hope u mean in 2015. I have no current plans on going that way for any reason at all. I mean unless you are offering me a home and to steer me around until i have enough money to play that match.

Sounds good. The $500 was just an amount we were going up to. We can go less if you want, just hit me up to negotiate. This offer is valid through 2015 and expires on December 31st, 2015. You have my s/n on here...PM me if this is a go and reference this thread. Good luck.

Rhea...
just a friendly heads up, as I would want it to be fair.
I would not recommend playing Julia on the 9 footer... your chances are MUCH better on the barbox, where you are more apt to run out.

Julia has on of the most solid and deligent pre-shot routines that I have seen, and I have never seen it waver.

Just wanted you to know. On a barbox I think it would be a good game, but on the big table, I am fairly sure she is the favorite.

That would be a match I would like to see. Julia shoots a good game.

Have ever been to the Millerberg tournament off of 70? If not you should come you can get all the action you want there with people that play your speed!

The Millersberg event is a good one. Usually called the I-70 shoot out, and there's good action at Mo River Pub to be had. Diamond barboxes and 2 9 GCs.

Julia is here in St. Louis though. I'm sure she'll play you.

Rhea should know Julia's speed, she says she's got even action... Even is what I'd expect to see.

Yes, Julia has a table at home, but I know she doesn't use it. I tease her about it every week. ;)

I know where she is at, I have played her before at the Millersberg tournament and I have won the 3 times we have played. she is a good player.

I dont ever recall seeing you there? I have played in every event since it started except last month. Just ask Chad.

I've only had the chance to play in one of the events (back in March, I think it was) It was a lagger's choice deal. But I hope to get back there soon, it's a great event. People were nice (Zack, Shannon and Chad anyway - I didn't really talk with anyone else). Tables played great.

I was letting Rhea know that Julia is local to here, so there's no need for anyone to "travel" - although the drive from Julia's place to Kenny's is over an hour, so it's kinda like a small trip. haha

I know what you are saying, I can't believe a pool player can't find a game in the St Louis area.

I love playing at Kenny's place, but the 2hour drive is rough when there is a few good place around here to play.

Yes but i'm there daily, and No One is barred from playing me. I will play anyone any speed. But if you are a known player who plays Coty's speed or better (AA) then I will require weight. And if you are a C-D Player I will give you ball weight up to to a maximum of the 7 out.

I dont know Coty or his speed. But I know I can hold my own with A level player's.

I just don't like shooting at $50 when my opponent is shooting at $500.

suggested

Well, it has been suggested that I could grind a minimum of $75 a day playing B players even in Vegas. I could also play in several local tournaments there and they have seven 24 hour pool rooms in vegas. For someone my speed who is homeless, that sounds like a winning opportunity.

A winning opportunity is getting a job and playing pool on the side. For you actually quitting pool and specifically gambling seems to be the winning ticket.

Say how did your game GETTING weight from a B player work out for you at JP's? BTW their has been action in Arnold where you live twice in the last week. Action 15 minutes from Barnhart every night. Action is everywhere. No one wants the "action" you speak of though.

For those that don't know. Barnhart is about 15 min to an hour away from most of St.Louis. She is only able to gamble at one place where everyone knows everyone. And we all know who gambles and how. She is way down the list of people to go looking for to gamble with. No money, wants stupid spots, no transportation and only wants to play 9 ball on a triple shimmed GC.

Quit with the stories and lies. The facts are you are a bad pool player and a worse gambler.

Branden I like the way you keep it in focus for some people.

We only met the 1 time down at Kenny's when my wife and I were there playing in the scotch doubles toruney right after we suffered a tuff loss, the one where the other couple were cheating and play way over there heads.
I think I started our conversation with "Ah the infamous Brandon Sullivan"

yep

I remember meeting you. We may not have the biggest action in St. Louis but we have plenty of small action. Once again though we all know her and each other and there is just way better action out there than what Rhea is offering.

Hell IBA7467 is the biggest sucker on the planet and he is in St.Louis. Wanna know why he isn't heading over to take her last $50????

Too many issues, too far of a drive, can't win anything, no desire to bust a girl with multiple problems, she could give him the 7 out and she will ask for weight, etc.....

Oh yeah and he like most of us who gamble here... He has a job, a family, responsibility, not much free time, and when he does doesn't want to spend it dealing with the above paragraph. Thankfully Dan donated enough so my family could eat this week.
