Well, I spent most of the day at Hard Times and didn't see any unknown monster players, didn't see anyonw who resembles the fella in the picture and I didn't see a Ford with Arizona license plates. The big gamblers in the room were not in action. There were several older fellas watching the matches closely but I couldn't pick out Built To Last. So these monsters are laying it down pretty good or Built To Last is pulling our cranks.
The room was hot and a little uncomfortable - the air conditioning was off but they were running the fans full tilt. Most impressive player I saw was Dennis Orcullo.

They would play...but they wouldn't jump up at 500k, that is just silly.
There are a lot of great players at Hard Times this weekend, truly a world class field with Efren, Francisco, Dennis, Warren, Hatch, Mika, Rodney, Ko Pin Yi, Jung Lin Chang and many others! Only Shane is missing from the mix. I'd like to see someone (anyone!) come in here and challenge one of these guys to play. The real monsters are here, just waiting! :thumbup:

Because the owner refuses to turn it on. I was in there on Wednesday and it was uncomfortably hot; close to playing in my garage mid day with the door open. Totally unacceptable, IMO.

I had to get out of there because of the sweltering heat. Not good for a guy pushing 80.
I simply couldn't stay in the tournament bleachers. It was like a suana.

Nope. The guy that took Oscar Dominguez to the hill 8-8 was a white guy with some bearded scruff with a bit of gray in the stubble and was wearing a tight black pull over type cap.
Played world class and might have beat Oscar but at hill-hill I simply couldn't stand the heat in the bleachers any longer and had to leave to catch my breath.
The heat is hard on the older fellas in the stands.
We dehydrate easily.

So did those two monsters go 2-and-out, or are they still shooting? If they're still in it, they've escaped my watchful eye. This isn't easy to do since I have a history of picking out players who are laying down a stall.
