Stakehorse scam

Well this situation is just awkward . But if it were me i'd say it's either he's full of shit or that someone has hacked his account .
But with all those red reps i can only imagine .

Or someone posed as StakeHor$e and made a deal via text/phone and ridethebus was indeed scammed by someone else.

I knew from first reading this post that it was so much BS. Stakehorse is a good dude, never any problems.:thumbup:

That's a possibility too . But ridethebus should have the shipping details and possibly more information , i'd still suggest to hand this over to the local/scammer's PD .

I don't remember them red reps being on ridethebus, but I guess I could have just over looked them in the past when I seen his treads. Also even if someone hacked in an has using someone account to send messages (which I dout) even if they deleted them rite away can't the people running the web site have them messages repulled back up? I no computer wiz but thought that can be done.

He got them all for making this thread. Which is lame.
 
just found out it was a older az member with the name xander is calling ppl on here trying to trade cues or other az members that are posted. I only did the trade cause I seen how high stakehorse ratings were on here and turns out it was someone else trying to sell his cues. be careful and I already apologized to stakehorse. im glad when people get ripped off all I do is get horrible feedback and sorry for posting this was just super pissed to think I had 2k in pool cues coming in and open the box and just phone books in there
 
AZ members should have to use their real names.

If you post it should be your name not some alias.

Ideologist makes perfect sense.

People on this site red rep for the wrong reasons. Red rep should not be given for an opinion but for being guilty of wrong doing alarming others of the wrong doing. You have guys on here like Rigmaster who red reps you one day and gives you green the next based on commentary in threads like these...this is why the good people will inevitably leave AZ, my time is coming.
 
I can vouch for ridethebuss, he is a good guy, not far from me in Florida. I do think he should provide more detail whatever it is. If it is who I think it is that screwed him over, this guy needs to be dealt with in a bad way. It sounds eerily familiar with Shane Noel AKA Xander2822 and how he likes to roll.

I have to say it is WAY TOO easy for anyone that gets red rep'ed or negative iTrader to get back online here and other cue venues. All it takes is another email address, which we all know is VERY easy to get. I have four of my own, one for the company I work for, one for my personal email, one for my cue business as well as one for my regional tournaments I run. You can obtain a new email address in minutes. Not only that but you can change your screen name every so often as well.

I also know there is a way to block certain IP addresses as well as MAC addresses by the admin that runs a site. However, I do not know how you can eliminate someone that literally does nothing all day but find ways to scam good people. All I know is something needs to needs to change.

I am following up with ridethebuss now to see what is going on and will update this post.
 
sorry that ridethebuss got scammed........very good reason to be pissed........but he thru stakehouse under the bus before he found out details........he was able to find out it wasnt stakehouse after he posted here......why wouldnt he have contacted stakehouse first...........ridethebus and stakehouse are the victims here.........hope you catch this guy who scammed you........!!!

please benefit us all by providing all of the detail on your transaction that you can so we might avoind the same scam you are experiencing.

Was there a thread you responded to or did you have a for sale thread that the scammer contacted you on?

Was it a pm, phone call, text?

what cues were being traded, pics, $$$ amounts?

did he say he was stakehorse?

how did you find out about it may be xander?

where was the package shipped from? was there a return label?

pictures?

providing these answers would be a good start.

You prove $takehor$e did some kind of scam and I will reimburse you fully.

How is that for back-up?

If the guy called or text msg you or emailed. Why not post the phone number or email address? And all information you have on the scammer so the rest of us might head this off before anyone else is a victim.
