This isn't boxing or the UFC. It's pool, we make our own rules. I don't have to earn a rematch, in pool if you don't roll out the red carpet for the sucker to keep showing up to give you money then you're a dumbass.

Actually it happens in boxing where a fighter gets a rematch without fighting someone else first.

The guy that Floyd is fighting next month, he just beat back in May.

Of course I can, for the exact same reason I could call him and bet more or even change my bet to the other side - you can do anything you want BEFORE the match starts unless you froze up the money and the terms before the match.

That's WHY people freeze up the money. That's WHY people make stipulations to that effect.

That's WHY people can change their bets, change their minds, bet or not at every casino on Earth UNTIL the dice are cast, until the ball drops, until the cards are dealt. Until the money is posted or the game has started then any side can change their mind.

He's been running his mouth about betting for years. He made one bet that he had to post noshow money for and his ego wouldn't let it go. I don't see him gambling again with anybody but low level players. He's got a permanent offer to come to Portland and lose his wallet, but that'll never ever happen. May as well put your trust in a politician's words. He talked like he saw himself as a shortstop, but one run of over 3 balls in 15 or so 1P games says he can fit on most apa rosters.

Sure, somebody can "make bets" and call them off as much as they want as long as they don't pay up first. They have many words for that kind of person, none of which any decent person would want to be associated with.

John, I recently (very recently) started playing 1p and invite you to come to the Pittsburgh area after next years SBE if you'd like to play some cheap sets. Or, we could up the ante to the cost of a custom case. How about it?

Boy I guess your not too confident in yourself putting up one of your cheapest cases , what's that thing cost to make 5 bucks tops ? Whoopi pick me pick me and I'll give it back to the person who comes up with the best 10 excuses why JB backs out of his bets

On a bright note

I won the July drawing for a JB case, the suspense is killing me. A mason case or flowers case , or a rugged case. Ohhh Dear God let it be a Mason, but anyways Thanks JB cases. Very Sincerely Charlie D

Sure you can call of a bet. But to do that, wouldn't you have to communicate first, with the person you bet with? What John did instead was post in ONE thread, that all side bets were off. So if you didn't happen to read the post before the match, you still thought you had a bet going with John. Where I come from, that's simply not cool.
