Here is what happens when a cue makers wife complains about not having a rolling pin. Some Teak, maple, and two old house cues later.....Bam. Instant satisfaction. Now as long as I can keep her from hitting me with it, life will be good.

It is cool coming up with stuff to keep the mind occupied, let's see what else is out there....

I got an old Meucci butt lying around somewhere, it would be a good donor. It will get some good use and won't change the hit much....lol

Nice. I have been tempted several times to make a fancy rolling pin. I saw an antique (fancy and expensive) rolling pin once that looked like it came straight out of a Brunswick catalog.

The thing rolls straight, and I would call this an eight pointer, full splice.

Did you get that wood seasoned well...:wink:

With the wood drop on some of these project, there seems to be endless things to do with the small pieces. I think I will take all the small curly pieces and glue them together in no particular form or fashion and make some short splices. Might come up with something cool...
