Ralf Greenleaf winning cue on Craigslist

Who knows, if I was somewhere close I would be making a trip to see the cue.
Stranger things have happened, you never know. His price I think is too high even if by some chance it was authentic.

Even if authentic which is about impossible to determine, I think the price is way out line. Wish I knew what that letter says.
I don't think the letter says anything if you blow it up it looks like a bio pulled from the net.
Anything is worth what someone will pay for it. In this case, I doubt anyone will pay that much! I have spoken with my grandfather (when he was alive) about Ralf and he did not know how we were related (we share the Greenleaf name). I would absolutely love to own a cue which was owned by Ralf, but not for anything close to $18,000! I'm really more interested in finding the family connection. There are quite a few "Greenleafs" around, but even so, it's really not a common name.

Wel the price the buyer pays the seller that makes the Cue the buyers, wil be the true value. All other asking prices, etc. is just smoke & mirrors.

^^ That cue looks really, really close to the one Ralph is using in this picture.
That said, Brunkswick made a "Greenleaf Cue" that has a signature on the top of the forearm. I would say if this guy's cue had a signature on the cue, it's disqualified. If it doesn't, I'd love to know who his grandfather was. It might be verifiable. There's a small collection of people who Greenleaf would give a cue to that I know of and it'd be interesting to know who the guy was.
Even SO -- the cue is WAY WAY WAY WAY overpriced.

Maybe he meant $180.00 and not $18,000.00.
I just don't see pool collectibles commanding the same $$$ as items from the more mainstream sports.
It seems to me from a player provenance view value that that cue is going to be a tough sell, for an inflated price anyway.
