While watching the Chinook Winds Open 10 ball stream , I couldn't help but notice that Rafael chalks his cue with both hands. I don't know about you but I've never seen many people do this. Not only does he do it , he's incredibly smooth and coordinated while doing it. Just stuck out to me

It does seem to be part of his PSR. Seems when he has a difficult shot or just needs a few more seconds is when he does it most

He likes his tips very low, he says it helps him feel the shot, so he has a habit of making sure he has plenty of chalk on the tip.

It's more his coordination doing it that's impressive . Very coordinated individual
