Meucci Cue are the best cues ever made.

SOME FLAWS...

Well, during that same time frame McDermott made about 3 times as many cues and
had virtually zero flaws.

Do you suppose it was magic?

Dale

ok, but did they make any that hit good?

That sounds unbelievable

You better believe it!

Straight from the Moochee website:
- The butt splice design increases amplification of stroke while diminishing warpage.

If your cue does not increase the amplification of your stroke, then you're never going to become a world beater.

Thinking about taking my 1000 watt amplifier out of truck and wiring it up 2 ohm to maximize the amplification of my stroke.

See all you TUNA's at the us open, I'll be the one WINNING

I was in Kmart yesterday and saw a Minnesota Fats cue that had floating 8 & 9 balls behind the wrap. They even light up!

I have one.

I have had a Meucci "Sneaky Pete" with a Black Dot shaft for around 3 years and it works just fine. I expect it will last for as long as I need it. Seems like a lot of pro players liked Meucci cues years ago. I know and shoot pool with a few guys that have older Meuuci cues and it is their "go to cue". My simple maple and plain rose wood "Meucci Sneaky" won't ever win a beauty contest, but the cue shoots good for me. My ordering experience with them was not a happy one for me.

I've had mine for 22 years (before shafts had Dots). I expect to be hustling with it in the old folks home when my time comes to move there. It is still straight. I played a few racks with it this morning.

I won't say it is the "best cue ever made". I own other cues that I prefer playing with. But the Meucci S/P does what a cue is supposed to do as well as any of them.

Actually, it was more than 3 times as many - are you really stupid enough to think
the truth is only what YOU saw?

Dale(who was not able to monitor every pool table in the world)
OK so YOU have the cue production stats for Meucci and McDermott for what ten year period between 1988 and 2002??? Dale, when someone gives an OPINION, it is usually based on their own observation -- that is all I was simply trying to do - lend my 50 years of cueing experience to the Meucci discussion. No need to call me stupid, after all, I did not claim to have the production STATS for both companies---do you? Because if not, you are basing your argument on unsubstantiated facts.

I played with Meucci cues years ago then switched to Mali. The Meucci SP I had with the snooker shaft played great but then I bought what was called a European Meucci and it was junk. In my experience the older Meucci cues in the 80s played much better than the cheaper ones of the 90s

I have made more money with Meucci cues than probably any other cue.

I have bought them from $50-100 and sell them a couple days later for $100-200.

I wasnt trying to make a killing with them, just flip them. I tried to just double my money, in a couple days. I did it many many times.

Didnt see many that I wanted to keep so I didnt fall in love and not want to move them down the road.

I think those days are gone.

Meucci cues are a fine starter cue, buy them used and dont pay too much.

Best of rolls,

Ken
