Dramatic to say the least.

John was down 6 - 0 then came back to make it hill-hill.

The last rack was excruciating and pressure-packed. Time clock was off, Darren had two instances where he went way over the 40 seconds; it was that complicated.

He thought and thought on the last shot then just bent over and whacked in an 8 foot carom on the 3-9 for the win.

Both great champions and they played like it. :thumbup:

Just guessing here:

1) Both players are proven "good pace" players who won't slow down the event.

2) The event and their match were already at-or-ahead of schedule.

3) Barry Berhman is the Devil-Incarnate who favors Brits and Cannucks because they've sold their souls him, and he doesn't want an angel (you pick the player) to win.

So, the clock is used on an as-needed basis in case of slow players, slow event or BB's evil designs.
