I don't think anyone ever proved it conclusively. A lot of similar information such as same addresses and relatives. And the fact that Tommy had an unusually high success rate at finding those new unused Engles cases under beds and in closets and at garage sales etc... and they all retained that new glue smell despite Sam having not made cases for years.
I'd like to have that cache of diary locks he was selling for $75 a set. That was ballsy.
