Congratulations to Darren, undefeated in his five matches, with one hill-hill match.

Bustamante went hill-hill in three out of his five matches, but won only one of those three.

Earl lost his only hill-hill match.

So, Appleton's individual won-lost game record was 50-35.
...........................................................Bustamante's was 48-41.
..........................................................................Earl's was 45-42.
......................................................................Shane's was 41-48.
...........................................................................Alex's was 40-46.
..........................................................................Mika's was 37-49.

Was this alternate breaks?

Yes. Interestingly, despite that there were often racks strung together, usually as a result of Player A breaking well (and running) and Player B not making balls. Two dry breaks can easily lead to a 4 game swing.

Yes, Bob alternate breaks. There were some comebacks. Bustamante was down 7-1 against Darren and tied it up at 9, broke the 19th game dry and Darren ran out.

Please don't remind me, I had picked Bustamante for that match.

It just shows the quality of the players that someone can win 48 out of a possible 50 wins and not even be in contention for the playoff on the last day.

Earl, who hardly ever praises any pool players, was quoted that, "Bustamante can really play this game. He's a great player."
I won't tell you what he said about Darren's game.
