Two new additions. Just arrived today (11/14/14), after an 11+ year wait. It was worth it.

The first one is loaded, with veneers and rings everywhere, plus a HUGE upgrade for an piece of outstanding birdseye maple. Cocobolo points, with white, blue, black veneers, and black phenolic.

The next is not as fancy, but I loved the simple fiddleback, veneers, and brown phenolic. Let me know what you think, or if you have any interest in either one.

Both look great and the top one is very similar to mine which should be finished soon. I also paid a heavy fee for that BE

Hate to burst the Bubble, but Mike Bunker - Jerry Franklin's nephew has been working at South West Cues since 1985! The same shop, same equipment, same technique, same desert wood, and same SW hit that they are famous for.
Thankfully Laurie Franklin has kept Jerry's legacy going with honest perseverance, and the help of Mike and Al Lawrence.

Nice cues!

I know I should not feed the trolls, but here goes. I'm glad your "years" of playing and collecting and working on cues (and formal education, obviously) has made you the sole expert who gets to determine what people are allowed like or not. Many of us here have done the same as you, only for much longer, like 30+, 40+ or 50+ years. So I think we too are entitled to our opinions. And most of us clearly hold a vastly different one than you. South West Cues makes an excellent product, and demand far exceeds their supply (and has for a LONG time). If they did not make an excellent product, they would simply go out of business, and the cues' value would drop. That has not happened.

Has not, and will not.....Happen!
