Pool halls are already slammin' sausage partys. Sort of wished I was gay. Just find the promo pics a bit weird. The people responsible for choice of wardrobe must really want to keep the roles and position of men and women in our society as far apart as possible. That's sad. And so last 1950s.

There is also a girl from philly area playing. If she happens to show up I am almost certain she will make final 4 if not win it all. But I havnt got confirmation yet from her if she is playing 100%. But if she does there will only be a few girls there that will be able to beat her if any.
Don't get me wrong, I like looking at scantly clad women just as much as the next guy. However, I feel like a switch and bait is going on in the advertisement of this tournament and I think that is what is striking a nerve with a lot of other people. I wouldn't mind watching Sports Illustrated Swim Suit Models or UFC Ring Girls playing pool in tight fitting clothes, but don't try to convince me that they are the best female players in the world when I know this isn't the case. Of all the names that I've seen so far, a hand full of them can play and they don't need to be exploited sexually for me to respect their skills.
If the ladies that can really play are okay with this type of advertisement, then it doesn't really bother me. The thing that I hate to see is the ones that take themselves too seriously, claiming that they put in the work that any other A level professional puts in when it is obviously that they care more about showing cleavage and are only there because they are attractive and can run 3 balls in a row.
Once again, I don't have an issue with attractive females playing pool and I wish there was more of it. But some ladies should realize that they are mediocre at best when it comes to competing with women that really play. Promoters should realize this as well and promote the events as such.
This is just my 2 cents. I hope I didn't offend anyone.

IMO, I think a few are being just a little too uptight. Look at it this way, there are always toms of "dead money guys " that play in lots of big tourneys and they are not frowned upon for being there, actually most everyone is happy they are - and have yall seen some of those guys lol. Eye candy IS GREAT for attracting a larger audience in any type of event - pool or otherwise.
Hell, honestly if I were CW and thought I could get away with it id make the flyers with them all in the nude.

I don't disagree about the dead money guys, but you never see the dead money guys on the poster promoting the event. Look at it this way, I'd be more interested in knowing if Karen Corr and Kelly Fisher were playing than Shanelle Loraine. But if you're selling the 'sex appeal' of the event, Corr and Fisher will never make the promo poster while Loraine will. I love looking at Loraine and I'm sure most guys do. But if I want to see quality pool being played, I'd much rather watch Corr or Fisher any day.
