Yes, they think if it's on the internet it's free! Send them a bill! I had to file a copyright infringement complaint with Facebook when they used my photo of Allison Fisher for a promoted post. Had they asked and credited me, I might have been ok with it. When I contacted them, whoever replied claimed it was given to them... but could not say by who. I could tell from the meta that they pulled it off the Billiards Digest website. My photo credit was right there. Finally Facebook removed it.

Brother, ya dont see them on the poster cause they ain't looking like these chics! Lol. Seriously though, is it not only ok but best if we have the best of both worlds? Ya know, chics with short hair that plays jam up pool, and the eye candy too? Im not a huge fan of CW myself but to me that sounds like a winning combination.
 
Sadly in sports , beauty and sports ability seldom go together.
In tennis for many decades , the one with both was Chris Evert. Gabriela Sabatini almost had both if she had won a GS title . I like Steffj and her legs (probably best legs in tennis). She had ok face though many complained about her Pinochio nose
In past decade , there popped up a bunch of girls who had both mostly from East Europe /Russia like Maria Sharapova, Elena Dementieva. Other sports have very few hotties like that East European high jump world champ who looked like Marisa Tomei and that famous pole vault world champ . Many sports have overrated ones in looks department like Lindsay Vonn in skiing. By and large in sports , looks is inversely proportional to ability- the top elite are usually not very good looking and the good looking ones are usually not the top elite.

Maybe you're not the Target Market? Maybe the promoter is trying to bring a new fan base into the game?

Sure, I'd like to see the top women play excellent pool. Me and about 100 other people. Hard to build an entertainment-worthy audience based on a couple 100 people.
 
This tournament is such a sham & it is a shame as I love women's pool. GYK either cme because she is pretty much a lock for the finals or her entry & expenses were paid for. The NY women have zero chance of winning.

To whomever mentioned players like Pao & Rojas, they are nice people but have no chance in hell of winning this event much less coming close. I mean Snooky not that long ago was a Special 5 in the tournament out of Steinway & is at her highest a C player, borderline B. She like many in the field are way out of their league.

Caroline should finish in the top half of the field-She is playing good. Cashed at Turning Stone and 4th in the NJ State Championship (Open -men etc).

Santos wants to fight Rousey so bad she can taste it but the UFC won't go near that with a ten foot pole after the skill she has shown and the fashion in which Santos destroyed Strikeforce's marketable beauty.

I have absolutely no issue with what you are proposing. However, I would prefer that it not be pitched as the best that pool has to offer. Just my 2 cents. I don't have any major issues with it though. I hope that the event is a big success.
 
I dont know the skill level of many of the ladies in this event, but for those that say there is a wide range, would you think the match would be improved if it were handicapped?

Out of the NJ/NYC area girls, I would consider Caroline and Jenn B at the top. I wouldnt be surprised to see Caroline go deep. Not at all.

Right on-I was trying to LOCK up a bet! I think Caroline is currently playing better than Jen. She is easily up a ball (and a half ?) in the last year.

That's just an excuse. Rhonda and the UFC was dodging her long before she got popped and lol @ ufc not wanting anything to do with users.


The UFC is even bias against how males look. If you are marketable your road to the title becomes much easier.
