I would love to see a one piece full splice cue built by any one of the high end cue builders especially one by SW....I would imagine that these cues would plays very awesome.

Love my one piece 26 1/2 full splice conversion (deadly playing cue) but it's a pain to carry around.

26 1/2 Full Splice - Almost 100 Year old and dead straight!!!

Problem is , I think, you have to keep the middle pretty thick to minimize chances of warpage. The makes the shaft taper too stiff for a lot of people.
Not mentioning too small at the tip end.
SW's taper is nowhere near .45 degrees end to end.

I think the middle section varied a lot on those old Brunswicks.

I should have about 7 or 8 Tru-Balances left if anybody wants to buy a couple on piece cues.

Jerry Rauenzahn talked to Dave Schmooze at Schmelke's and was told... quote, "There are no more one piece cue making Company's left in the USA."

Jerry -R- has built three for me. One of them is the best hitting cue I have ever played with, it hits and feels unbelievably well, just AWESOME!!!

As far as I know these three one-piece -R- cues are VERY VERY RARE considering Jerry is the only remaining source available in the USA. If you wanted a custom design one-piece cue Jerry is the MAN.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...

Jerry gets a lot of praise but not nearly enough. What he does is incredible.

I was absolutely floored when he told me his wait was only about 8 months long last month.

Mr. Marshall I'm truly jealous of your collection. You have fantastic taste in cues.

John,

Really nice collection of one piece cues. I have an original dark rosewood 26 1/2 one piece but it's missing the wedge at the end. Might send this to Jerry to see if he can work his magic on it. Love the one piece ebony full splice that you have....hope mine would be like that once it's finished.

Thanks for sharing.

Happy New Year,
Duc.

Duc,

Jerry is a master at replacing wedges. He does a better job on the fit and veneers than when they were new.
