Titlist Snooker cue

I have one with the sticker intact, pretty fine condition and pretty straight. It is dirty, but it could easily be cleaned up on a lathe if needed.

Anyone have thoughts on value or rarity of these? I have only ever seen one with the sticker, and a couple others that had to be Snookers but the sticker was gone. They are extra length with a longer taper.

I will submit photos shortly, but the sticker says Titlist Snooker in the standard script.

I'll get a picture of those up soon, but no one has an answer on rarity? This is the only one I have ever seen, didn't know if they were a secret gem or just hard to find and no one cares about them.

It plays a mean Golf game, though.

Ask CueBuddy, he is pretty knowledgeable about those. I got one from him in real rough shape I believe, I would be interested in yours too depending on dollars and the weight of the cue.

Too small to turn down into a custom as has taken a lot of the old house cues and not a ton of interest. However I don't deal cues so I don't want to put a price on it. My interest is in measuring and duplicating the taper, or part of it.

I was lucky enough to find three Titlist cues in a flee market on the front range of Colorado about fifteen years ago, None were in good shape but at four dollars apiece I was not going to complain. One of the cues is 58.5 inches long and very thin at the tip. This cue had the last 1.5 inches of the butt cut off with just the tip of the sticker left on the cue. This told me the cue was originally about 60 inches long. I am positive it is a Titlist Snooker but can't prove it.

Rare to say the least but I have seen pics on the web of a couple but can't find them now. These relics now hang on my wall on a carousel cue rack I just finished making about a year ago with 16 other vintage cues. At four dollars apiece I did good......intact label or not. I would love to hear how you found that cue:cool:

You can prove it is a Snooker by the taper. Ultra skinny and long taper.

I got it from a friend who got it from ebay. No killer story like with my Carom King
 
I've got some old snooker cues from the 50s and 40s....
...and I've owned some Titlists.
But that is the first Titlist snooker cue I've seen.

My old snooker cues are mostly butterfly design.

This cue has the correct taper. The points have no color left but who knows whats under the dryed up exterior. One of the other Hoppes has the most beautiful Brazilian rosewood I have seen on a vintage cue. I would love to have it converted but it is also thin, I still think it could be done.

I also have a few vintage Snooker cues with the butterfly design. Its too bad I did not get a chance to meet up with you earlier this year when I was in Toronto on business. Next time I head up your way I will make it happen. Toronto is very cool.

Yeah, it was a bad time for me....worked 58 out of 60 days...some doubles.
I promise to give you a snooker cue on your next trip.
