Trash Talk Section?

To deal with threads that ultimately get contentious and typically get deleted or locked, would you like to have them moved to a "Trash Talk" section?

- Make the rules looser (no vulgar language, no threats).

- Threads can still be locked or deleted depending on the severity.

- Members may still be banned for severe breaches.

I thought we already had one and it was called the Main Forum.:thumbup:
It seems to be the work of just a few posters as far as the trash talking and insults go.

I think we should have a special forum for folks who don't want any trash talking at all. Seems to be a minority at times.
 
This forum doesn't need that. It wouldn't make pool look good at all if players were on the largest billiard related site talking trash to each other in a designated sub forum.

Just keep it spread out in all of the forums so people have to actually going looking for stuff like that, rather than it just be right out in the open. There will be less eyes out it that way.
 
Another forum I'm on (covers.com) has what is called the penalty box. Pretty much anything goes besides threats of violence and racism. I'm not asking it to be that open here but it would be nice if we could still see some of the great threads that have been deleted.
 
Bump for more votes. I should have made it a public vote. Trash talkers probably don't want their threads hidden...

What? Have you not read the main forum recently?

Let's get it done and leave this place to discuss cue sports.
 
Trash talking threads tend to get the most hits and participation. It's the "last word" syndrome.
 
I don't like the idea. We should be looking for ways to get along better on here and acting like adults. Not looking for a special place for us to be rude and crude to each other.

By they way, I don't understand all the drama on here. I am surprised as hell that people will spend hours and hours and hours making post after post after post on this board or any other internet site arguing every little thing that happens to death. Get real, go hit some pool balls, spend time with your people and enjoy life. Ain't shit on here worth getting so worked up about:yikes:
