Finally got my account activated on AZB!

I am considering to buy a jump cue, currently interested in Predator's Air2 and Mezz's Airdrive. How differently do they play? Also, are there good alternatives to them?

Thanks in advance.

Of the two I like the mezz better I my self use poison jb there's lots of great jump cues out there have too say my fav would be lomax and welcome too AZ

Jump cue

Only jump I would consider buying right now would be a James Hanshew jumper! There is a world champion that would be jumping with one right now if he didn't have a cue sponsor.

I am currently using a mezz airdrive but I have heard nothing but good things about the predator jump cue.

However, if I were in the market for a jump cue right now, I would strongly consider Marty Carey's jump cue just because he is actively sponsoring tournaments :)

P.S. I am not in any way connected to Marty Carey and I have not tried his jump cue yet.

I have the predator II air cue myself, and it's a very good jump cue. However last weekend I got the opportunity to try the OB lift pro and got very impressed. It's very easy to jump with. Cost about the same as the predator air at Seyberts.

Thanks for the feedbacks.

Yeah, I can't find many in-depth reviews for Air2, but I know Airdrive is pretty good.

I tried many of the ones listed here and choose the http://www.seyberts.com/products/HXTP1_Pure_X_Jump_/_Break_Cue-102580-332.html Players HXTP1. I really like it because it can be configured very quickly as a Break, Jump or Masse cue.

I am less likely to buy a J/B cue now, since I have a BK3 already. I will keep this in mind though.

So here is a list of alternatives:
- Lomax, James Hanshew, Marty Carey, Jacoby and OB lift pro.

Any comparisons between these ones with the Air2 and Airdrive?

The Pechauer jump cue is by far the best in my opinion, I would at least give it a try and its cheaper(around 120). I have tried every production jump cue except the Mezz jump cue. I have also tried just about every production J/B out there and the poison VX3 was my favorite. best of luck.

many threads here over the years on what jumper is best.

the 2 consistent winners are:

Lomax

Jacoby

I know guys who have $35 J&J jump cues and they jump really well, also.

As with most equipment, there is some subjectivity.

best,

I recently acquired a Jacoby with the extension. I'm pretty happy with it. Best jump cue I've tried so far, and I'm done looking for a while unless a Lomax falls into my lap.

Love my Jacoby, makes jumping easy. I think there is something to that brass ferrule they use, makes a lot of sense on a jump cue.
