This speaks volumes as to your level of knowledge, generally speaking. So you are pivoting twice or do you swipe as you stroke?
How can you use the cue from aiming since its not pointed where the CB goes?

Jeez, I read this post and it's like I wrote it myself. I have all the same DVD's and, nothing, it's over my head. If I lived in Texas I would be at that school in Dallas. But I don't. I keep sending e-mails to Randy to come east again. I don't think he likes it out here. Yo, Randy, how about July?
backhand english after the pivot- what else

Don't feel bad, I had over 30 PM's from people saying the DVD's are no help. Many of them said worse than that. I think I will take the Pro's advice and practice more and watch DVD's less.
Customer Service 101.I think you are NOt speaking the truth on at least 2 accounts.
You say you are an advanced level player. I doubt it very seriously. I would like to see a video of your advanced level play.
I also do not believe you can produce over 30 pms that show negativity on aiming DVDS.

He has been knocking on me hard for many days now. He started out with the snake oil implication. And he has not let up since.
He did not email or call me for ANY help. In short time after getting the DVD and could not get it....he began his trash talk.
I will not sit idly by....he had been relentless. I will defend my character and what I teach till the day I die.
Stan Shuffett
You have a ego problem along with a self esteem problem.
If your stuff is as good as you like to believe, no amount of trash talk is gonna make a difference.
If you can not handle negative feedback, you best get out of this pool teaching business then and hide in a cave.
If you do not realize that negative feedback is also a means to see where improvement is needed, well, its just sad.
There is a reason I don't feel the need to go around defending my character nor my method, and lord knows its been attacked on here, cause I know who I am, I know what works, I know there will be those mock me, but so what. BFD.
So hes knocking your way, so what? Why are you giving this guy so much power over your emotions? In the grand time line of your life, this guy is a nothing, just words typed on the screen.
BFD.
jeeeezz, this thread turned out to be offense and defense......
One would never learn any aiming system if he/she
1) is not patient
2) thinks aiming system is like magic and then you can make 100 balls!
3) can't even set aside for just a moment of his own knowledge and give way to a new one
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just realized that AIMING conversation is like religion so diverse, and in that sense CTE is real.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To be fair, just do what your heart wants, be it CTE or traditional aiming (feel/GhostBall)....
I am going to try the Dr. Dave BU program, looks like that has some good skill development practice that can help with speed and english. I especially like his rating system.
^ You already have your answer. Table time with the BU program is the way to go.
That's the right choice. And, by the way, practice is also how you learn to aim, with or without a "system".Thanks, I agree. The whole Dr. Dave VEPPS, HAPS and BU videos are real good and offer me many ways to improve my game with practice. I have to say his DVD's have helped me, but not in the aiming realm. They help me in the practice realm.
Also Tor Lowry's videos are also very good.
What I was saying is the aiming DVD's were hard for me to understand, that is all I was saying. I will keep trying to understand them in my spare time, but I think I will devote most of my time to practice.
