Has anyone flown lately and taken several cues onto the plane in a carry on? I'm debating on whether or not to fly to the Super Billiard Expo and it's really no fun without taking a few cues. And it's a 13 or so hour drive.
Thanks in advance,
Jim Kissinger
IIRC the TSA had announced a change to allow pool cues but it was either never implemented or quickly rescinded. In any event they are still on the prohibited list. If you want to chance it and you get past security somehow, the airline might still not let you take them on, which means the dreaded gate check. Now your cues get stowed below without protection of being carefully packed in a suitcase or duffel.
Check them through or ship them to the hotel.
I have a large suitcase. My justis case fit cross corner and since it has a jb interior I had nothing to worry about  lol
Nothing to worry about...except the airline losing your luggage perhaps.![]()
