I don't think Pac Man has the skills or gas tank left to beat Mayweather. Maybe 5 years ago, but to many of his fights have been to hard. Mayweather seems to just cruise through a fight. The Pac Man will have to knock Mayweather out to win, he can't out box him. I really hope I am wrong. Maybe he should shoot pool instead!

Neither boxer is too much of a knockout threat in this weightclass, so I believe it will be stopped because Manny gets cut bad or it will go the distance and Manny loses. But who knows if they are going play the 3 fights for the big, big money. You think pool is bad for the dump, boxing is where pool learned it. Johnnyt

Money on points or by late stoppage if Manny's gas tank runs out. I just cannot see how Pacman wins this fight. He was fearsome 6 or 7 years ago, but those two wars against Marquez, especially when he was KTFO surely have taken their toll, the two guys are similar age, but there is way more mileage on Manny's clock, Floyd rarely ever has to move out of cruise control.

Such a negative attitude. It's happened late, but a lot of fights over the years have happened late. It's still HUGE.

For those who's saying Manny needs a KO to win, you could be in for a big surprise. Floyd almost always starts slow, measuring his counterpart in the first few rounds, that wouldn't fly against the Pacman. Once you give Pacquiao a 4-5 round headstart, Floyd is in for a looong night. He will play catch-up in the middle rounds and will overextend himself at some point and will be caught. Manny is the busier of the 2, no way his defense will win a round for Floyd, unless he can outthrow And outconnect Manny in every round. And for some you who doesn't pay much attention to boxing, Floyd's Achilles heel are the Southpaws, and we all know Manny is not just your ordinary left out there. Floyd's vaunted "shoulder roll" doesn't work on lefties, and this wll be the first time he'll be facing an opponent who has or probably has more hand & foot speed as his. Manny's unpredictabity will be too much for Floyd come May 2nd...

I honestly have no idear who is gonna win but by the #'s I suppose Money is the favorite. Im Pacman all the way; im putting two dimes on Paccy and either way am going to thoroughly enjoy watching the fight at the local strip club with my boys on their 12 foot screen!

I agree that Manny may have had a better chance a few years back but who's to say he wasn't the underdog then either? He still had a suspect chin then as he still does now. Floyd imo is clearly on another level. Not taking anything away from pac. But Manny doesn't do anything exceptionally well that Floyd won't be able to neutralize. And if people think Manny has a punchers chance (and I agree that's his only chance), then remember that the best punch ever landed on him was by Mosley who's one of the hardest punchers ever in that division. Did it hurt Floyd? oh yes. Did he go down? no. Did he recover quickly? yes, before the end of the round he was fine. Did he ever get hit again? No, he adjusted and Shane wasn't able to get to him again for the whole fight. Floyd is also a smarter fighter than pac and anyone he's fought.

Well last time I checked the Champ makes the rules , if Pacman didn't get knock out into never never land buy a guy who Merriweather easily handled the fight would have already happened

you're referring to the marquez match. pacquiao almost finished the guy in the 5th and 6th round until that right hook right to the jaw.

I agree with the majority that 5 years ago Mayweatther wanted no part of Manny. Today he feels that he has the best of the deal, both in money and in the ring. I hate Mayweather's attitude and hope that Manny gets to him early and beats him and then retires. Not the most realistic of scenarios but hope reigns supreme.
