These are amazing! Very thick, smooth and stable. Phenomenal performance!

Hello Juan

I have the orig madman from you. Love it...Whats the diff??

Thank you
Richard

The outer edges do not look contoured and appear flat & angular despite being leather.
If that were the actual case, then I don't think it's a design shape I'd want to play with.
The photo might be misleading but the bottom of the bridges look more like V than U shape.
I think it's important for the shaft to sit flush and the sides & any edges have a round contour.

It looks like a U shape to me. I think it's just the angle the photo was taken at.

look at the picture above very closely???

What do you see???

Answer!!!

The bridge is so "STABLE" that it stands on its own!!!

Take any other bridge and try to stand them up and they fall over! The picture tells it better than I can. Also, the hard leather allows the stick to slide very smoothly. This puppy has a little weight to it as well.

The shape may be a deal breaker, if that concerns you? But, the shape is not causing the stick to move awkward due to friction and the cue and bridge are very much locked in place where you put it or point it, the weight holding it down and the thickness and ability to stand are very nice features. Plus, the price is not an arm and a leg. The V wedge is a plus for me. I place the cue at 120 degrees in the V or 50 degrees versus "90 degrees" and it allows me to utilize the sides of the V as well as the bottom for stability! the "90 degree" cue placement in the U provides you with only one cue contact point at the bottom of the U versus the three obtained by utilizing 3 surfaces instead of 1! But hey, what do I know???

It may be 2 surface contacts on the V vs 1 contact on the U!!! Either way, 2 or 3 is better than 1 surface contact point. IMO
