PERCEPTION ON A 2x1 table.

That has been answered 100 times so to speak.

Also, your question is answered by presentation on recent YouTube videos.

AGAIN, YOUR ANSWER, WHICH YOU WILL NEVER ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YIU UNDERSTAND, IS SIMPLY ABOUT CTE PERCEPTION ON A 2x1 TABLE.

This argument reminds me of when I was studying martial arts and guys would talk about the power of their internal chi. They told me that until I experienced it though years of proper practice, I should shut my mouth and stop dissing it, because I didn't have a clue what they were talking about.

Then they'd show me a tape of some old Chinese master, who would throw a man across the room using only the power of his chi. I'd watch and think, "How do you know he's using his chi just by looking at the video? Looks to me like he just gave the guy a real good shot in the ribs."
Some just need to have "magic" in their lives. If they saw reality more clearly they'd realize it's way cooler than their anemic fantasies.

You run from your words at 20/1 and 40/1.

You speak about CTE like you know it .......let's meet 1/2 way next week and you give me a demo of your knowledge of CTE and video it for YouTube. Up for it?

Indianapolis. Ok?

Could you please direct me & others interested to the YouTube videos in particular?

Thanks.

Ya, in the case I brought up these guys were missing out on the real power of "chi", which is as a visualization that keeps you from pulling up on your strikes. They were waiting for the magic to happen, while I was drilling them with effortless power. They said I didn't get it, but none of them felt like sparring with me. Lol

Just like "follow through" and "getting through the CB" in pool. They are merely forms of visualization that help you to stop anticipating the hit and decelerating on the stroke, which almost always lead to bad things.

People are funny. We have developed an aversion to running into things over the millennia. My dog has no such worries. He could care if he slams into me running full bore, and he nearly knocks me off my feet sometimes. He weighs 45 pounds, I'm over 250, but he is not encumbered with any great sense of self like I am, so he just lets go, and if he gets hurt, he shakes it off because he's not worried about what might happen to him because of the injury.

Even though we're not really worried the the CB is going to hurt us, we still have something inside us that creates an urge to avoid contact. This eventually subsides for the most part, but even the top players quit on their strokes at times for unexplained reasons, and for some of these guys, it eventually turns into a bad case of the yips.

I should not have to spoon feed you!

I think many 'lurkers' might find that odd.

It would seem that if there was an answer there that would resolve such a fundamental question, that you would be ready, willing, & in a hurry to provide easy access to it.

I think many might find that rather telling.

Well, the CTE Swat Team has arrived to derail another thread, apparently because it wasn't about them - can't have that. Never should have tried to invade "their" forum, I guess.

Interesting while it lasted...

I prefer to call them the CTE storm troopers. After all, they are led by the SS.

Yes, it was interesting for a brief moment!

I call BS on you, Wordman! Are you allergic to my video account on YouTube? Are you adverse to viewing demos on CTE? The answer to your question is there and it's obvious that you do NOT want to call attention to it.

It has been answered here, on my DVDS and on my YouTube videos. All you are about is negativity toward CTE....

I've watched very many of your YouTube Videos.

It was one of them on perception that led me to my conclusion regarding your CTE.

I was merely asking you to direct me & others to the particular recent ones to which you made reference regarding the what & why to perhaps see if there was some new & different information.

If you do not wish to do so, that is certainly your choice.

Best 2 You & All,

HOTAIR140.....show us a little bit of your pro level skills on video, would ya? Or did you just make up that 140 something?

I would say you are goldmine there in Fla.....those 9 ballers down there should be flocking to you for some 14.1 lessons.

You do teach 14.1? I would like to send a student your way....where do you teach? Address, please.

Each individual can form their own conclusions as to why that is.

State your question very clearly, one more time, please. We can see if it has been addressed or not.....and if for some reason it hasn't, you can be assured that I will do a video on it...

I hear you.

What's wrong with the quoting mechanism? It looks like I said what Cookie said & now Cookie what you said, until I fix it.

Best 2 You & All,
Rick

The quoted material and the person to whom the quote is attributed have not matched on many posts over the past several pages of this thread.

I would recommend two things to posters:

1. When you are quoting someone, hit "Preview Post" before you submit the reply, and check whether it has given the correct name for the person you are quoting. If it is wrong, just delete the wrong name (and the swoopy arrow) and type in the correct screen name. Then when you hit "Submit Reply" check again. If it is wrong, go to Edit and correct it.

2. It would even be nice if you would go back several pages in this thread checking your posts. If the material you quoted is attributed to the wrong person, correct it by Edit.

This is not the first time the quoting function has not been working properly for at least some posters. That really ruins the integrity (ha!) of the thread, indicating that someone said something that was actually said by someone else.

Carry on.

Sometimes it starts with somebody backspacing out the first or second bracket of the BBC for post quoting. Then it gets carried forward with each iteration. I usually proof read in "preview" myself, but earlier on I made the same mistake... right after claiming the function was working perfectly fine for me.

But, yeah, it was easy enough to fix it in "edit" mode.

A sincere reply amended to the following sincere reply.

I think you know the question at hand. We've been down this road before.

You've instilled no confidence in me that you are capable of answering the question regarding the nature of your CTE.

You believe it to be something other than what others have concluded it to be.

I see nothing in the near future that is going to change that.

Your perception of your CTE is not the perception some others have of it.

The objective truth as to it's nature may be proven at some point in the future. Until then there will be disagreement as to it's nature.

You may not like that, but that is the objective truth of the matter.

Best 2 You & All,
Rick

lol

This often-told lie is your "tell" that you've given up trying to make sense.

pj <- harder than you thought, huh?

Lie? Maybe Howerton has a backup of that thread? You're just praying people forgot about your barrel...many have not. Care to bet another $3k on whether that really happened? Might as well bet, you never pay anyways.
