As he pointed out to me recently, he did finish 17th in a state tournament about 15 years ago. Not sure how that compares to itsfroze and his second chance tournament win a decade or so ago.
That event had a huge collection of top pros playing in it....efren, hopkins, jose garcia, mike lebron, bustamante, neptune joe freidy. You, sir, never would have made it thru the draw. I felt good tying Busty and finishing ahead of Jose Garcia and Mike Lebron.

Also will point out that was on 9' Gold Crowns and races to 9..... not 7' tables races to 2. I also won a regional 8ball event 3/4 times taking home $1k each time. Have you ever won $1k in a tourney?

We had some decent players show up for our regional this month. One of the higher finishers I've had some luck gambling with. That doesn't lead me to insinuate that i can play as well or better than Scott Frost, though. Didn't have the extra few hundred to try it, maybe next time. I'm not saying that you didn't have a good finish, but I'm certainly not about to bow down to somebody that points at the one placing from that long ago. Consistently, I'd consider it much more respectable.
What makes you think I was a better player in 2000 than in 2015? I'm not leaning on anything. How many events did you take home over a grand in winnings? Since you opened your not-winning-nuthin' league-handicapped mouth

Well, after playing 8 years, i got undefeated to the semifinals of the apa event and made Gunia work a bit for it, that was $4k. A year or so earlier, won our regional B event of a couple hundred or so, that was about $750. Don't think I've been out of the money in the A's and there aren't many masters around that would give me weight, definitely no A in my area i wouldn't play, most i could probably spot. Another couple years and I'll probably offer you a spot, too. I just play in a bar, with a bar cue and against my friends. Woe is me. I'm just a schmuck that's almost to your speed since your last tournament of note.

If you're talking about apa, it really doesn't mean much since I've been max handicap for a while. Also, if you could even find an event in Portland, much less Oregon, that pays a grand or more for first, let me know. There are only two that I'm aware of, which are first(maybe second) of the A group and the masters. I get the money from the first, but you're more than welcome to show me how you get the money from the other.
