Fear of Feel

Not by any recognized authority, he isn't. Anyone can stick a title of World Champion in front of their name, doesn't mean they are one. The only two that recognize that tournament as a world championship are you and him. And the only reason he does is because he thinks it adds some kind of marketing credibility for him. (apparently for you, it does)

CJ has beaten plenty of champions...both for the cash and in tournaments.

I would assume he knows a bit about playing pool.

If he, or any other world-class players wish to share any information, I will listen and take from it what I can and discard the rest.

Aloha.

By the way, the word "deflection" doesn't adequately express what is going on with CB squirt in a purely physics or engineering understanding of the phenomenon. The term "squirt" was chosen because the word "deflection" is what happens to the shaft when subjected to a sideways load, as occurs when the CB is struck off the central axis... even when it is struck just a "touch" off center.

Yeah, that unedited  consecutive 29 ball run playing the one pocket ghost..........while he was away getting a drink, that ghost  put most of the balls in the bottom left corner pocket (the 14 ball, the one made on the break, mysteriously wound up on top??)

Shhhhh... (That's already been forgotten about here.)

Move along, now, folks, let's move along. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

In the movie The Buccaneer, Jean LaFitte's 2nd. in Command, General Dominique You, confesses to Andrew Jackson that he was not really a general in the French Military, but merely a corporal.

Andrew Jackson responds with, ' Well, my friend, on the battle field today, you were a Real General...& I thank you for all that you did.'

CJ is a Real Champion in my book regardless of titles & I Thank Him for being here on AZB & for helping all those that he as evidenced by many testimonials of which I am certainly one who's game he has helped.

Thanks Again, CJ.

Best to All,
Rick

Yes, he was a great player. No one ever said you shouldn't take what you can and discard the rest. So, what again is your little rant about?

]TOI is NOT english,[/COLOR] it's an overall playing system. There's more written about this system of play than all others put together. If you don't believe this, name another overall playing system that has been discussed, or written about more? CLICK PICTURE TO SEE THE 15 BALL GHOST DEFEATED

Anyone that thinks TOI is "inside english" needs to admit that it's not for them and they should not discuss it anymore. I've said all along that THE TOUCH OF INSIDE technique is not for everyone, why is it so difficult for some people to accept that they will not need TOI to enjoy playing pool?

TOI is NOT for you, please accept this and talk about your overall playing system.....whatever that is, I doubt if there are many others.

Since "english" is hitting off the vertical axis of the cb. And results in deflection of the cue, and squirt and possibly swerve of the cb. And, since you state that deflection is what makes TOI work. And that you have a cb with no spin AFTER contact with the ob,(which means that the cb had to have spin before contact to negate the effect of spin induced english), how is it that TOI is not english?

There is no "rant" there by HawaiianEye. He just made some rather simple statements.

The real question should be, what was your 'rant' really about?

What is true is that C.J. plays better than anyone in this thread and he was and perhaps still is world class.

He also won a "world championship" tournament against world class competition and that is good enough for me to say it is fine for anyone to call him a world champion. I don't need the political endorsement.

P.S. Lol at "read it on the internet."
I think you need to develop a sense of humor.

Yes he was world class player. If he still is he would be playing in bigger events. That said nobody disputes the knowledge he has. Sometimes though the delivery of said knowledge is lacking.

I will resurface on this thread when I think another chuckle is needed. It is far too serious in here.

If he showed how to make a ball on the break everytime, I'm all ears.

You win...what was I thinking.
................ And BTW......................
The difference between something good and something great is attention to detail.
Did you ever see that incredible run of 29 ball's....WOW.;)

I can show you how to make a ball on the break EVERY TIME, you need only rack the balls EXACTLY the same...EVERY TIME! Heck, i'll even call the pocket!

players that have squirting problems may need TOI to learn more control

Your (typically denigrating) joke doesn't change the fact that they mean the same thing in pool - you know, like "spot" means "handicap" or "cut" means "non straight" or... well, you get the idea (or not).

Insisting on using words differently than the people you're selling to doesn't sound like very effective marketing to me.

Sounds like you may suffer from premature etalkulation. :groucho:

I've never seen a player that would bet he could hit the exact center

Every shot is struck off center. I've never seen a player that would bet he could hit the exact center, I'd certainly bet against it.
