Craiglist Finds

The titlist is 47 inches from end to end ? Yikes, what happen, his dog use it as a chew toy ;)

Seems like craigs list is often very over priced. People just taking a shot because it does not cost them anything. Having said that just a few weeks I bought a nice lathe for $200. They were asking $500 and it is worth every penny, actually with the extras maybe $800 or so.

I just made a low ball offer for the heck of it, I planed on paying the $500 if I have to. The guy said let me call the owner, it was in the back room of a place of business, and he comes back and says the owner said take it. Might be the only deal I have ever gotten on craigs list.

I was contacted by the person selling the Titlist Hoppe cue. It looked rough in the pictures, and I suggested he post it up here to get a value. At the time I didn't realize it was only a one piece cue, and thought it was odd to have a two piece cue that short. He made no mention of the Rambow, but that is one of the nicest examples of a custom Rambow I've seen. Extremely good condition, and super bright veneers. Might be a little high priced, but you don't see many Rambows in this condition.

Titlist one-piece are close to worthless if they are not the 19 oz or heavier variety . They are thin in the middle if they are lighter than 19 oz.
Can't convert them to two piece cues .
The 17 oz on CL now, it worthless for conversion.

Good to know about those titlelists, been looking for one to have converted for several months now. Scott that Rambow is in Salt lake City. It sure is a nice specimen!
