I came into this thread to read about updates on the tourney, not some crap about what is good and what isn't for professional billiards.

If this is your concern....tell me why it took so long for the table recover of the Elks lodge 309 here in the Colorado Springs. Your ''quite the talk'' when the recover matter was brought up amongst the members. Mind you, many of these older men/women are triple smart, non-poolplayers and business men, they felt the recover job taking MONTHs was weird.....tell us your side of the story for why it played out this way, especially with your position of ''bettering the pool world'' :boring2: I've only heard their side.
Tell me something will you...how many tables and what sizes are they at that Elks club....do you even know?
Well if ya wanna woof, lets play some, I'll even let ya pick the place, time, table size and whatever you need to gain an advantage.
But the bottom line is.....
I'm just regurgitating what the members told me. Teachers, lawyers, corporate CEO's retired, yeah, what da they know. If ya did such ''timely/great'' job, you would of remembered all their good will.
I do remember it, and if you feel that playing pool determines the better man....then arm wrestling should to rightI'll even start with my arm in the down position so that's like playing you a race to 9 in 10 ball and giving you 8 wins to start!

On a different note, any tournaments for pros is a good thing but I wonder what impact this will have on their big table game when it seems like 3 out of 4 tournaments are on bar tables now
