Is this a good buy?

It seems like $400 would be a great deal on that cue, at that price any "custom" cue with good wood that plays the way you like is a good buy, I feel.

I have a chance to buy this cue for $400.
1 shaft and JP's'
I have played with it several times and it is in mint condition.
So is this a fair price? and the picture on the web site does not really show the beauty of the wood and rings.
Ted I already know what you think but post your thoughts anyway.

If you like how it plays, $400 is in the neighborhood.

Personally, I wouldn't go that high purely because there are SO many cues available right now from more well-known makers around $400.

Looks about right for that cue. But $300 would be stealing.

I know that but it is a personal friend of mine. He is a 75 year old just getting bye on social security. And $100 is not going to mean much to me but it will feed him for a couple weeks.Measureman is just an old softy.
And I really like the cue.
