After the accustats 1p challenge, did none of them gamble?

There was a collection of shane, scott, efren, justin hall, danny smith, and alex p.

Each one of them left the event with $2K or more with all traveling expenses paid for.

Maybe they did and no stories were told about it?

How come they didnt gamble with each other after the event?

Accustats had paid for all their traveling expenses and guaranteed each player $2K to participate.

So 6 of them left the event with a $2-5K free roll.

I get that alex and scott just played for a huge amount. Seems like this would've been a good of a chance as any for some more action.

For whatever the resson most "pros" and for that matter better players have NO HEART! Not that they wont gamble but rather always look for " weaker" players to give their action to.

Well, as pros, I'd think it's more of a business decision, like chopping up the pot/savers. Why trade money back and forth when they can dip into other waters?

Yes i get what ur saying but; still shows no heart imo and i might like it to why do nfl teams play one another? Why dont each nfl team just play a cfl or arena team?

Going out and gambling amongst themselves everytime they get paid would be pretty short-sighted...
The kind of "heart" you are talking about is the surest way to become permanently broke, just look at all the "great" gamblers of the past and where they ended up in life.

Fair enough however IT IS THE LIFE THEY CHOOSE TO LIVE. Everyone wants to talk qbout how pros cant make any money; let me tell you its not like it used to be. let alone pros, us average players cant barey find fish or easy action anymore. Just about everyone is Nitted up. the good action fishes now play amognst ourselves cause we know if we loose a bunch we at least have a chance to win ir back next time. its NO FUN to loose a bunch to someone when U KNOW U HAVE NO CHQNCE AT WINNING IT BACK.

I agree. I've never understood the rationale behind the old-school idea that you should continue gambling until you go broke. Seems like just a good way to go broke to me.

Well first of all there sre dozens and dozens of pros. for them woyldnt be no diff than waljing into poolroom on a friday night and matching up with someone close to their speed. Doesnt happen. The top guys and even lesser players used to put IT ALL ON THE LINE to see who was better. not no more. they just are worried about room fare foe the night and a cost of a large pizza pie at the pool hall. if they can make that nut life is good apperently.

Sound logic, but if there is a loser yhere has to be a winner too correct? Not like all the money evaporates into thin air and everyone goes home broke right????

You'll see some great players dumping their money on the casino floors. Seen one play 5 hands of blackjack at 1 to 2k a hand...he won one bet. Pretty crazy.

Yes very true but diff story. think were tslking bout pool only. but yes that is a good way to evaporate the $$$lol

It's real simple.........

When top players do match up it's because they both think they have the best of it.

Just like in the pool rooms where everyone is playing and knows each other.

Unless someone is getting backed there is no big action usually.

People that like to gamble like to back players. They like the action.

Many players out there are just trying to hold onto their shorts. it's tough out there today.

Give them a break please..............

Why don't you flip a coin for your paycheck every payday?

Tap tap tap!

The skills need to pay the bills first. Some people want to live vicariously through the pro players and that typically includes some type of high stakes gambling fantasies acted out.

Why is gambling the end all be all for most of you? They have bills and have to eat like the rest of us and in case you haven't pro pool players aren't exactly swimming in cash.
