Any ideas on who made this? A new guy in our league gave this to one of my friends. Nice guy... Its a pretty great cue for free.

Not joking here the guy who gave it away (he actually gave it away like as a gift) wants to buy a cheap production cue!

Assuming this is a fairly expensive cue that the guy in ignorance gave away for free, and assuming there are no extenuating circumstances, your friend should tell the guy the real value of the cue and offer to return it, or to pay a fair price, or to sell it and give most of the proceeds back.

It will only make for hard feelings if the guy has to see his former expensive cue at league, when he had essentially given it away with no knowledge of its true value.

Sometimes *not* taking advantage of the newbies at the pool room is the right thing to do.

He tried actually they talked about it for a few weeks and then he just gave it away neither guys know who made it.

My first thought was a Cog as well with the rings and pin.

I saw da Rings, I saw da Pin, I knew instantly dat someone had Struck "Gold".

We had a guy pass through The Jointed Cue several years ago
who sold two really nice Bobby Hunters for CHEAP.

Cuesblues is so good at identifying cues that he was once tested.
He was blind folded and allowed to only sniff the cues.
The first cue he sniffed and said Schon-correct
The second cue he sniffed and said Martinez-correct again
The third cue he sniffed and said that smells like shit and said Meucci-correct again.
The mans a genius.

The above is a fictionalized account of Cuesblues skills
I'm sure he holds no malice towards Meucci cues.
I do but that's another story.

A lot less expensive than Purina Elk Chow

I never knew you could take such great pictures of things other than pool cues.
Good job Ted.
It would be real cool if you could get a picture of a Mountain Lion or a Bear.
