Well, here it is folks. Post number five-thousand. It seems like only yesterday that I was mouthing off for the fist time. Something about One Pocket, no doubt.
First off, a big thank you goes out to Mom and Dad, for not using protection all those many years ago, even though they went ahead and sued the condom company, anyway.
I would also like to thank my High school principal, Mr. Sweeney, who said, when he handed me my diploma: "Son, you ain't nothing but bad luck."
And, with out a doubt, I want to thank my three ex-wives who all said, at one time or another: "Are you through yet?"
Although paling in comparison to the huge number of posts by my good friends Joey, JAM, pt, Cuebuddy, Blue Hog, Jay, Hu, and many, many others, five-thousand is still nothing to sneeze at, and I'm very proud to have contributed to this fine organization.
Good luck to all of you. Let's do five-thousand more. :smile:
 
It really is an accomplishment for sure. Congratulations and huge thanks for the contributions.

Post 5,000 had me laughing. Like an Oscar acceptance speech.

Weil fungratulations to one funny mudder frucker on 5000, but Tramp I'm disappointed you never mentioned your good ole girlfriend Sally I think her name was. You know you would never have made it if not for her, so give her some love too. lol

Funny you should mention her. I just got a call from her daughter, little Sally Bimstein, who congratulated me on getting to 5000, and reminded me to be sure and get the oil changed.
I said. "Get the oil changed for 5000 posts on AZ?"
She said. "No, you idiot. 5000 miles on your car." :)

Congrats TS, even though we've argued sometimes, I think we agree much more often ;)

But the real question is: Have you won 5000 games of 1p since you joined AZB?

Hell, I probably haven't even played 370 games of pool since I joined :(

I've played 5000 games of One Pocket since I've been here, but I've only won three or four of them. For some reason I just don't get to the table that often. Damnedest thing.
Also, I've been using one of our Miracle cues for several years now and more often as not when I take a shot for my pocket the ob goes into my opponent's. :smile:

Thanks Dave. A few years ago, when I came on board, someone was kind enough to do the same, and I never forgot it. New members are how this thing we do survives, and I think it's important that someone stands at the door and hands them a basket of fruit. Don't you pj? :smile:
