I wonder how all the "winner break" advocates feel now. Last year I'm pretty sure this tournament was alternate break. However, Qatar outplayed USA and deserved to win. I was really looking forward to a England vs. USA or a Taiwan vs. USA final.

Bashir was full of confidence early on. But in last rack , he suddenly had weak knees and overran position on 8 ball LOL and Waleed coolly bangs the 8

Qatar played outstanding. USA made some mistakes but did not play bad at all. The best team won in an exciting match.

I'm glad it was winner breaks, Ref racking and I'm glad they got rid of the 3 balls past the head string rule.

Pressure surely showed on that shot by Bashir, he took a lot of time, not sure of himself (pressure).

Agreed Mikey, Waleed been getting around playing on bigger stages past few years. I like his tempo, a lot like Shanes.
