Just recieved a 3/8-11 extension that WILL NOT screw onto a south west butt. Don't know what 3/8-11 pins they work with, but it isn't south west.

They had issues with those connector pins. I think it was the type of threading, course and fine thread was mixed up.
It's not the only issue I had with them. It's a great extension, but you have to find one that not only fits but has been built centered.

I believe some others posted about that pin problem there as well.

I remember when cues that had more than one joint were considered inferior cues. Now cues have different types of extensions.

I had Newsheriffintwn make me one for a South West and it came out perfect.

Seems to be some quality controll issues with Balance-rite extension. Have a local cue maker make you one that fits your cue perfectly.

That's right, I have a monster cue that hits a ton with 5 joints if you include the tip. That's my ace in the hole if I offer a game where the handicap includes shooting with the cue of my choice.

This. I got one from him that is perfect and honestly looks better.

Off topic but he also made a beautiful jump handle that I got for a more than reasonable price that is amazing. He is a great guy to deal with.
