My intention was to own a dozen high end end customs........that goal evaporated with the pending enactment of California's AB-96 that bans all sales of ivory of any type.......my collection appears in my signature.......7 cues......one break cue and 6 others.......which is only half of my original goal of 12.

July 1, 2016 is going to arrive quickly and there's not enough time to order cues from some cue-makers I admire like Prewitt, Hercek,Tibbits, Richard Black, etc. The ban will go into effect within 8 months from now.

Fortunately, the ;last couple of years, I was very fortunate and became introduced to Bob Owen and Jerry Rauenzahn. I hired both cue-makers to make me some customs (1 in 2014 & 1 in 2015). Both of the se cue-makers greatly exceeded my expectations for cue excellence. Given the calendar constraint of 7/1/16, I engaged both cue-makers to make me my two last cues due to the ivory ban.

So my count will end at 8 cues......I don't count a break cue because it only gets used once a game at most, assuming you won every single game in a match & the winner breaks. I really was looking to add a Hercek cue & a 2nd Prewitt cue before my collection is sealed but that's not in the cards any longer.

The good thing is my cue savings account can get closed and I am going to save money since "any" ivory in pool cues prevents those cues from being purchased or sold within the state of California where I reside........Stupid law but it is what it is........at least I was able to get a few nice cues along the way.

is a photo of them in one shot out of the question?;)

Not sure, maybe they could be placed in a single photo on a pool table but I would have to figure out the way to bring them all in a pool hall what would be very demanding action since I don't drive:p:):p
Don't have a driving licence,not yet.
Here in Croatia you have to be an adult,a mature or better to say full aged to have one:eek:

wouldn't have to be on a pool table, living room group pic would work too no leaving the house with a giant sack of goodies required

Can try,but would have to take a day off to get them out of boxes they have been placed in and to put them back later.
However,I will do that soon.I have a room just for pool cues and pool trophies since I am a player.
When I was a kid that was my room.Actually it used to be a room for maid when my grandfather was alive since he used to be very rich till the second world war:smile::smile::smile:
