how many cues do you own?

Way, way too many!!!!!!!!!!

I started 8 years ago with my first cue - a $40 Philippine POS with a "real Cobra skin" wrap. Once I started upgrading I couldn't stop. At one time I had about 125 but sold 45 of them. Now I am back up to about 90 and plan to sell off 40 or 50 of them. I'll do it slowly though so as not to flood the market. LOL

My current collection consist of:

2 Tim Scruggs
1 Mike Cochran
1 Pete Tascarella
1 Jeff Olney
1 Cory Barnhart
1 Steve Lomax J/B
1 Joe Kershner

Everchanging

It changes weekly...lol, but here's what I have and most are locked up in a safe and gaurded by 3 dogs, one of which is a ferocious Yorkie...lol again.

1 Frog jump cue
1 Lomax jump cue
1 Bunjee j/b
1 Falcon j/b
1 Omen j/b
1 Dale Perry
2 McDermotts
2 Schons
2 Joss
1 Lathom
1 Carmeli
1 Zinzola
1 Sugar Tree
1 Scruggs
2 Lambros
2 Searing conversions
5 South Wests
1 Schick sneaky
1 Thomas Wayne
1 Paul Mottey conversion

Looks like 29, not counting house cues on my wall and cues I wish I still owned. Wasn't sure how many I had and that's why I replied and did the cue count by memory from work. I don't think I missed any, but I'll edit later if I did.

Thin the herd!

I've had as many as 33 at one time but I find myself with a good solid number that I can live with.

1. Jim Ingram (3)
2. Kent Taylor (1) with another on the verge!
3. Bob Owen (2)

Slightly different hits to all three, yet all three play great.

I am in the minority.......got my first cue in '71, then the next in '85 and it stayed that way until 2010........switched my cue play to only ivory joint cues but I still own my Palmer cue and Runde Schon.
I acquired my Scruggs & Mottey cues in 2011 and I just ordered a custom cue which is being made......and oh yeah, a Stinger jump break cue. Gil Castillo just made me a 6x12 leather case which will be filled after my custom arrives.

I must confess there's one last cue I want badly and I'll keep searching to see if I can score such a cue at....gulp!....a reasonable price......like maybe $4k but I haven't seen any Prewitt Level 5 or Level 6 cues in that price range.......only an Ed Prewitt merry widow which is just too plain for my tastes.

I am kind of cheap mf lately. I sold my collection 1 year ago being able to buy a big SUV with the dough. Sad but true...
Now I rarely have 4 cues in my case. None bigger than 1,5k.
1 McDermott (my sponsorship)
1 Pechauer custom made (my beautiful dream)
1 Predator SE16 (back home)
1 Bear b/j (my old friend)
I am a Jacoby lover. I had so many and I hope I'll get another one soon. (..get back).
