Table
i am putting 860 on 2 bar boxes, never tried to glue simonus, what is the best spray glue ?

I will refuse to use spray glue on simonis.
It's problems waiting to happen.
Do yourself a favor and scrape the old glue off around the edge then lightly touch outer edge with sand paper to knock off the residual dust from the old spray glue.- I'm sure there lots of old spray glue left behind from years of recovery.
Use 3M-10 scotch grip roll on application, the outer 3/4 slate edge will be the only place where the roll on adhesive will be applied to the slate, do not roll on glue top or bottom of slate surface.
Reminder, you must stretch index the cloth so you know where to apply the roll on glue to the cloth so the two faces match with stretched to the anchor point.
Leave about 2 inches of cloth remaining when the sides and end of excess cloth is trimmed, then use a light mist of spray glue to the bottom of the excess cloth to stick to the bottom side of the slate, if you don't the old glue will adhere the slate in the table and next time you go to remove the slate it will be stuck in.
If you scrape the bottom of slate of all the old glue you might be in for a battle so I don't recommend you do this unless the rail is sitting high in the table because the old spray glue on the bottom is jacking it up.
The old valley bar table can be a big pain because of the speaker cabinet design<~ weak.
If you want to tackle it with spray glue, there is a simonis DVD for the bed cloth install with spray glue. The DVD can be purchased at Seyberts.
Chuck, thx for your time and effort.
Good luck'
