Do you think it's wrong for the King & Queens Cup to copy the Mosconi Cup format? I know it's probably legal...but is it morally OK? Johnnyt
 
Not only OK, but I think every tournament should copy what others find to be successful.

I agree with the copy cat if it's done well and not tarnishing the name of the MC. I was a copy cat in the mail order biz, back in the day. Johnnyt
 
In my opinion, what's not morally right is that Charlie Williams, an American pro-player, seems to be investing in the demise of pro-pool in America.
 
I didn't watch it and didn't follow it but I did see something about scotch-triples. Does the Mosconi Cup have that?
 
Oh well, you only have to wait two week for the REAL THING.

The Mosconi Cup is still the only event to produce genuine excitement.This King

Thing was a contrived event where there was no discernible link between any of the West players and the East formula of 2 + 2 Filipino + Taiwanese was always going to have a low audience affinity rating. These were just 8 players flying under Flags of Convenience.

I'll give it one more year before the flags are run down.
