Hmm, I seem to recall Alex saying his favourite player was some old Canadian guy. Can't remember the name...
Put a shot clock on Alex and he falls apart. He likes to take 20 minutes per shot, which wears everyone down.

Ok...."currently" you all have all of the bases covered.
I'll throw in a little curve ball. I notice that many of you think Tony Chohan is going to be the World's Best One Pocket Player pretty soon and that would be great. I like to see players come back from difficult circumstances.
I think there is another young one pocket player that will become the World's Best One Pocket Player in the next few years if not the next couple of years. Regardless, in the coming years, we are all going to see some great one pocket by Danny Smith.
Danny, while already a feared opponent is still developing new skills in one pocket and he shared some of them with me recently when he was passing through New Orleans. We also compared cues and I was flattered that he said my cue hit "sweet". I like the fact that while he is supremely confident in his game, he is willing to look at other players and adopt their unique techniques and styles. That is a winning combination imo.

For $100 , he won't take too long.
Throw another zero on there and then multiply by 20, yeah, he will stop to think.

I kinda lump Bergman into the same field as SVB, Orcullo, Appleton, Hall etc when it comes to one pocket. When they are on they can beat anybody on earth in 1p. SVB and Orcullo have won multiple major 1p titles but when they play the game nothing stands out and are very predictable. They just have such great fundamentals and shot making skills that pull them through. They don't have the intimate knowledge of the game or creativity as frost, alex, JJ, Ochoa, t-rex, danny etc etc... JMHO
