Usa shirts

If it were a normal collared shirt it would be flying off the shelves and the players would look both relaxed and professional. Instead they are making these (in the case of the US team, mostly un-fit) guys wear something that looks more appropriate for a squash or handball tournament. Too bad.
 
Wear that in public and you're gonna have to beat the ladies off with a stick.
 
Google RedEye Rhino and see what the owner (Charles) has done for darts, their tournaments and sponsorship. Just had a high entry, nice added money event with 24,000 people watching his stream. He has similar ideas for pool but with the design experts voicing their opinions in this thread, I gonna bet he gets worn out and it doesn't get anywhere.

To the person that said they are simply polyester, have you ever seen the shirt up close or felt the material?

What do you think it costs to pay a designer to come up with an original shirt?

I don't know whether they care or not, but if they really don't, why not reduce the price by that amount and get even more exposure for the event and the game?

Remember the time when companies would have to pay us to advertise their events and products?

that's great, but it doesn't make the shirts or the players look good. You're free to disagree of course.
 
Maybe they could make a shirt that tones it down a bit lol I'd be happy to buy one then

I gotta agree. The shirts are Red, white & blue for ....wait for it..... Team USA ;)

Yes, will order one of these bad boys today. Magic Chalk patch is going right smack on the right chest side ;)
 
Yeah - how the players make a ball in the one's they are wearing today since they are even more colorful with that big USA on the back.

According to the experts, they should be wearing a nice white polo with a small American flag pin on the collar.

Oh wait - the kids just won the doubles match. They must be envisioning themselves shirtless. Brilliant.

The shirts have nothing to do with them making balls lol just not something I think the average fan would wear although I like today's better then yesterday.

Are they wearing the blue jerseys today. Saw them on the website. They are a little louder in design, but I like those as well. Now, not sure which one to buy !!

For the event I think they are great. Purchasing as a collectors item I think they are great. Just buying one to wear regularly or semi regularly would be a bit much.

Justin wears his UTG shirt -- he has lots of different styles that aren't USA -- every time he comes to the pool room or when he goes to a tourney now. It is starting to look natural.
