As stated earlier in the thread, the lights come with a two-year replacement warranty on any defects. Basically if a light stops working for some reason just send it back and we will send out a replacement.

I've already done this at least once for a light that arrived broken and I believe that buyer posted about his experience on AZB somewhere. I'll search around and see if I can find it and post a link here.

I downloaded a light meter app for my phone and at the centre of the table it was showing 8.6 kLux, which is about what they use in operating rooms. At the edges it was down to about 7.2. I was going to take some more readings of the lights at varying heights over the next while so when I do I'll post the results.

How many feet above the table was this klux measurement?

WPA requirements is a minimum of 520 lux and at 8.6 klux that is 8,600 lux

I just got one of the 2X4 panels from Brian and installed it above a 9' Gold Crown 5. I adjusted the height above the table until i got what I think is the perfect lighting of the table. It wound up being about 48 to 50 inches above the table. I'll have to dig out the tape measure to get the exact height. Glad I went with Brian's recommendation to only get one. He could have easily sold me to 2 to 4 of them as that was what i was originally thinking about getting.

Light was very easy to install and only took me a little over an hour and that was doing it by myself. It comes with a transformer and the hardware to hang it.

I am extremely happy with the lighting and much better than the light I had before. 4 X4' fluorescent tubes, which I thought was pretty good.

If you are looking for a light for your pool table, you should check this one out and Brian is a great guy to do business with.

Tried to PM but your inbox was full.

Hi, I'm interested in one of the 2x4 flat panel LED table lights. I am in Ormond Beach, FL 32174 and was curious about delivery times and total cost.

Thanks!

I've had the light panels for at least year now. They just light up the room so much better. Definitely highly recommended.

Led lighting

I've been meaning to put a post here, just been super busy with our new room.I'm going a to give you a honest reply here.
These lights are, in my opinion , the best bang for your buck. Very good lighting, I'm not going to say they put out as much as a diamond style light, but they are really really good! My room looks amazing! If you calculate the cost of these lights, vs. the savings in power, it's a no brainer. It took me a few months to pull the trigger on these, but Brian finally sold me on them. I bought 18 from him, and the price he gave me was excellent . I would buy them again in a heartbeat! Thanks for the service Brian , as I am very happy with the quality of the lighting.
Now with all that said , I do think the framing around the light needs to be stronger. They flex a little bit. But they weigh nothing! I literally put six anchors in my acoustical ceiling, and hung them! Amazing !

A few more pics, this time from a room in Japan. Note the pachinko machines in the one corner that are standard in rooms there, and also interesting is that they use chalkboards to keep score at each table. Most rooms there that I've seen don't have hanging style table lights but rather use lights mounted directly in the ceiling, and for this one the owner did something very similar using the flat panels. The result is great, in my opinion. Beautiful tables too.

Yes the flex can be a slight issue, but can be mitigated with precise placement of the hanging wires, or by using six instead of four (as I believe you did in your room). Making the frames stronger has been discussed, but then we run into having to use different materials and that will have ramifications on the weight and possibly the thickness. Using carbon fiber frames would be another option but then the cost goes up too. As with everything it's all about trade offs.

I am stationed overseas in EU (Italy) and about to move to a new house. Would love these things. But definitely need to know the answer to the following two questions in order to purchase:

1. Are the transformers dual voltage? (110-240)

2. Can you ship them via USPS? I have a military FPO address and cannot get UPS or FEDEX at it. Would have to be through the post office.

thanks

Again, the tradeoff here is simply one of cost. Some people are ordering two 2x2 panels and then spacing them, which is a good option, but slightly more cost than going with the single 2x4. Another option if you want insane light would be to go with three 2x2 panels all in a row in the centre of the table. Any of these options would be great, and if that's what you prefer I can definitely supply you with the necessary setup -- and you'd still be saving a bunch of money when compared to the Diamond or Brunswick lights, both in initial cost and in power. However, it's my opinion as a pro player and as someone who has played for several hours under the lights, that a 2x4 panel provides tons of light with very little noticeable shadow. It's up to y'all as buyers though, if you want more, I'm happy to supply it.

If you were to go with two 2x2's or three 2x2's how would you run the electrical wiring? Can you incorporate the wiring and run one cable as opposed to two or three electrical cables. Hope the question isn't too dumb:embarrassed2:
