Here are two 60 year old one piece to chopped Titleist Conversions. Just out of my shop for John and his brother.

Very nice. What type of wood is used on the bottom of the wrapless?

The cue was some type of Rosewood and I could not match it exactly when I chopped the front of the cue to move up the points. So when I extended the butt with a tenon, I sleeved it with some Abonia Burl I had laying around.

Because the other cue has a wrap I was able to grab some black palm wood from the handle area for the butt sleeve when I installed the jatoba handle and butt tenon.

Looks great, I love the finish you get on those cues, could you tell me what your laquering process is?

Automotive Poly Clear with flow enhancer, progressive wet sanded to 4400 grit and progressive wheel buffed with clay bars up to SF.
